MGP 9th Graders are on the Path to College

Though the current economy prompts daily changes in policies and procedures associated with the college application and admission process, one element remains constant: the importance of a rigorous academic environment in high school. Preparing middle school students for such a high school has been one of the major goals of MGP since its inception.

In the fall of 2009, 88% of MGP 9^th graders are on the path to college at Baltimore City’s finest public college preparatory high schools such as Baltimore City College (42 students) and Baltimore Polytechnic (43 MGP students).
