An Overview

It used to be that independent schools sometimes offered programs to local public school systems out of a sense of duty, guilt, or perhaps even sympathy.
At the same time, public schools might have sought independent school partners simply as a route toward achieving a stronger financial bottom line, getting what they could from an institution with seemingly so much to give.
But the Middle Grades Partnership seeks to upend this way of thinking by promoting the notion that there is much for parties on all sides to give and get. Partners learn to step outside comfort zones and get to know others in a different, though complementary, world.
Instead of each side thinking, "You can't do this without me," partners instead note, "We can't do this without each other."
